Located smack-bang in the middle of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park you’re ideally located for hiking, hillwalking and mountain biking amonst the most stunning scenerey in Britain. Perfectly placed to experience the longest zip line in Europe, forest coaster, quarry carting or slate caverns. Or visit villages, castles or cafes. The choice is all yours.

How many people does Y Gweithdy sleep?
There are two double bedrooms, each with a full double bed. So 4 people can stay here comfortably.
Will the hot tub be available?
The gorgeous hand-made cedar hot tub is always on! It is electrically heated so there is no waiting around for the water to heat up or messging about with fires. Just get in and enjoy!
Where can we eat and drink locally?
The Gwydir is a traditional Welsh pub less than 100m from the cottage! The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is fantastic and the locals are friendly!
How far away from things is the cottage?
- Snowdon (Y Wyddfa in Welsh) is about 12 miles.
- Betws y Coed (a delightful village with great food and shops) is 5 miles.
- ZipWorld Forest Coaster and TreeTops Adventure is 5 miles. The Llecwedd Slate Caverns (Bounce Below and Zipline) are about the same. The Penrhyn Quarry zipline is about 20 miles.
